Shared Links to Single Pages of Notes is being removed

We recently removed the ability to share single pages of notes. The previous single-page sharing implementation from personal OneDrive notebooks was our initial attempt to begin building out the larger feature set. However, this first step didn’t satisfy the needs of our customers and, compared to full notebook sharing, usage of the limited page sharing feature was very low. The technical path we need to take to build out the full OneNote page sharing experience requires us to deprecate the previous functionality until comprehensive work on these feature improvements can be completed.

I love working with onenote and I have one workbook for work, one for family and one for personal notes. It's a hazzle though to switch between them, but luckily that's working quite well and at work I have my workflow in that notebook etc. I would like to use onenote to write/delegate todo's for my staff and then sharing a single page would be the best. Having to open a completely different notebook and transfer the todo there, or to go there and write seems very complicated. Yet, I would like feedback on the progress, and thus sharing the page as a snapshot doesn't do the trick either. Put back the function or develop it to something usable and implement - P L E A S E !
