    Hi there,
We would like to get more feedback on which of the two scenarios are more important to you:
    1. The ability to create new pages in OneNote from markdown? OR
    2. The ability to recall OneNote pages as markdown?

Integrating Markdown with OneNote will not be an easy feat but boy, it would be useful. I like writing all sorts of texts in OneNote but it is then quite hard to publish them anywhere because the HTML is full of OneNote-specific markup. Markdown export would make the things so much easier. So #2 would have the most added value for me.

Regarding #1, it sounds nice in theory but I cannot quite imagine how it would be implemented. Would the WYSIWYG editor be replaced with some simple text editor? What to do with all the ribbons and buttons that could not be used in the simplified "Markdown mode"? It would probably only create a confusing user experience.

So I'd start with #2, it's much easier and would still be greatly useful.

Shared Links to Single Pages of Notes is being removed

We recently removed the ability to share single pages of notes. The previous single-page sharing implementation from personal OneDrive notebooks was our initial attempt to begin building out the larger feature set. However, this first step didn’t satisfy the needs of our customers and, compared to full notebook sharing, usage of the limited page sharing feature was very low. The technical path we need to take to build out the full OneNote page sharing experience requires us to deprecate the previous functionality until comprehensive work on these feature improvements can be completed.

What happens to page links that I’ve already shared with other people?

Previously shared links to single pages of notes will automatically expire as of June 15, 2018. After this date, recipients of shared page links will no longer be able to view these pages, unless a recipient…

It's not in OneNote 2016. What a sad story.. Sharing of whole notebooks is a bad, bad idea, and sharing should have been one of the highlights of the 2016 release.

Please, OneNote team, realize the importance of this and implement it in some update soon. OneNote is such a missed opportunity with messed up sharing.
