OMG YES PLEASE! A code editor for OneNote would be amazing. If you could integrate it with node.js and bing so that I could test code within a sandbox in OneNote I would never use anything else. I currently use OneNote to save snippets of code to reuse on different projects, but I find the spellcheck/formatting to be annoying to get it to be "code readable", and am considering switching to a different program (like brackets) for my code note taking. The reason I've stuck with OneNote though is that I don't have to "comment" out my comments, but what would make my life way more simple is if I could insert a "code box" into my OneNote page that left me copy/paste code into that left the formatting alone, so that I could still write notes regularly above/below the codebox but the code inside the codebox remained "code formatted."

If I could then test execute that same code with node.js into a bing browser window, then I'd be the happiest windows developer on earth.

Thanks for voting for this suggestion! We can’t make any promises at this time, but we are definitely considering this feature and would love to hear more about how you would use it and why it’s important to you. If you haven’t done so already, please feel free to add a comment with this information.

The messaging aspect of the TODO would be amazing. Either being able to tag a list to everyone the OneNote book is shared with to fire off an email everytime a task is done or the list is complete, or when a task is overdue, would add amazing functionality to OneNote!

I use OneNote for my project plans and writing user stories. Being able to add a "comment" so that I could follow up with something or get clarification would be VERY USEFUL. I was hoping that OneNote had comments implemented in a similar way Visio does - where it shows a little speech bubble where the comment is, and then you click on it to open and can see the comment history.
