This shortcut has regressed in the current build.
For bulleted lists, this already works, hover near the left hand side, and then a chevron appears - click it to collapse.
Having nicely formatted links is probably good enough - it would be great if the title was updated to reflect this simpler ask if that's what most people are voting for.
We would like to get more feedback on which of the two scenarios are more important to you:
1. The ability to create new pages in OneNote from markdown? OR
2. The ability to recall OneNote pages as markdown?
If I understand correctly, is this something a developer in the community could do?
Is anything blocking the following:
MarkDown to OneNote:
markdown -> convert to html -> post page.
OneNote to MarkDown (likely losing page fidelity):
OneNote -> Get as HTML -> Convert to markdown.
A simple "first cut" of this feature would be show the same page preview in the live tile, as you do in the windows 10 page thumbnail on the left hand side page toolbar.
