Essential must have! First step for me would be a summary page of all open tasks of a notebook or section. A bit like it is possible in Windows version with "search for categories". BUT: this must be dynamically updated and not a one shot like it is today.
Reason for that is that I use OneNote throughout all my documentation and management of several projects in different companies. Normally tasks come up during meeting preparation, the meeting itself and documentation afterwards. It would be easy to just mark paragraphs as task to follow up. But without a summary page you will loose tasks.
Assigning responsibilities, dates priorities etc. would be another level of comfort and usability, but the essential and most valuable step would even be the dynamic summary page with all tasks from all my notes of a notebook or section.
I'm looking since years for a note taking software with this functionality but had no success. Or to be more precise: I found one but this one hasn't had the power on the note taking side, a bit buggy and finally died because the developer lost interest or whatever.
