Please reinstate the ability to 'insert a printout' in the Class OneNotes created through MS classroom. This function has been modified to not embed the associated file...this means the printout can not be opened or edited and refreshed from within OneNote.
This was one of the BEST features of OneNote for class use.
If it cant be reinstated then at least provide the ability for it to be an option for Office admins or teachers to set when managing a classroom.
This has been fixed for all versions of OneNote 2016 and 2013. Please get all new updates for this to take affect.
should be able to scan in word, excel etc as was the case with office 2003, why take it away and make life difficult or users
Please bring it back

This has been fixed for Office 365 customers. The change reverts to the old behavior for editable file types like Word and PowerPoint documents, but PDF and XPS documents will not have the original file attached to save space and sync performance.

An app should be created for achievements storing an organising in assignment results certificates and diplomas with the feature to arrange a print out of CV organised in achievements alphabetical order and a caption to enter personal statement as the note book
A "must have" for the product. Poor decision to remove.

Hey all! We implemented this feature because the original behavior of OneNote printouts was causing sync problems with class notebooks due to large file sizes.
You can still obtain the old behavior by inserting into a regular (non-class or personal) notebook and moving the pages over to your class section.
I'll look into fixing this on our end by checking the file type.
yes please. I used this function very regularly.
Why would you remove It!
Why was it removed? what are the issues? were they raised by users? This is a useful function that is used frequently.

Why remove it in the first place and now require a two-step process to achieve the previous feature?

Important feature needs to be brought back. Benefits of having this feature out way reasons for removing!

Having different functionality in OneNotes because they're created by different means is certain to create confusion, As I understand, the functionality was removed to reduce sync time, but when everybody's internet speed is increasing anyway, sync time is not as important as ease of use.... imho.
