Thanks for the feedback on this. After distributing pages to students, under the “Distribute Page” menu you can click the Undo option revert the distribution. Note that this option is only available within the current session you distributed the content in. There is no explicit delete option after this because it could potentially delete content added by students to their individual notebooks.

My school division has opted to switch classroom content management programs from OneNote because of this issue and other similar issues. This program has extreme potential and has been very useful to us but falls short in terms of flexibility and support.

I click undo page distribution and it keeps giving me a message stating that "OneNote has not yet synchronized distributed pages. Please wait for pages to sync completely and try again"... All my pages have synced. I've been trying this for the past 30 minutes - unfortunately, I will have to resort to deleting the distributed pages individually... Yikes, for 30 students. :(

Completely agree with teh need to add this feature, especially as I just shared the page with the answers on it!

One more voice wanting a delete option for previously distributed pages. Why do you feel like you have to protect student content from the evil teachers?? Just fix it. We are not mean nor are we stupid.

+1 there need to be a way to retract distributed sections. Maybe it could flag up where content might be lost?

I agree that the teacher should be able to delete a previously distributed page when they like - they can decide whether or not it is appropriate to delete students' work. I also think it should be possible to edit a previously distributed page (you can do this when using Google Classroom). I also think you should be able to distribute pages across multiple Class Notebooks - the current method is not efficient - again you can do this in Google Classroom.

clearly feedback from your customers to be able to delete content, let us worry about potential student work being deleted.

Ahh....stuck in a sync loop "Onenote can't delete until the page has sync'd"

Sync the page....and still stuck with "Onenote can't delete until the page has sync'd"

If you want to undo it imidiatly is possible but is it also possible after a few days?

We definitely need to be able to delete distributed pages in a more efficient way than going through each page. My student teacher just distributed a test on MS Forms by using students individual page. Now, he has to delete each page one by one.

Definitely need an undo type button...I have tried the undo distribution and it is not effective...keeps trying to sync...and I only pushed out to 3 students to test it. I can’t understand the thinking that teachers wouldn’t want it...we make mistakes and don’t want to have to waste time deleting from each students work!

Notebook apps will automatically identify distributed pages by logic weather inappropriate and record where posting derived from initially and self delete all attaachments considered inappropriate by teachers standards and will use an app to initiate a reasonable punishment such as late txt or missed call

you can actually do this already, with the onenote 2013/2016 software, under the tab 'distribute page' you can 'undo distribute page on the bottom tab.  However, there are limitations to this. I think something better is still needed.

So agree with this...It is tedious to have to go to each students notebook. There should be an undo button or a simple way to see what has been distributed and make changes.

Agree, you hit the distribute button and then have the 'Oh No!' moment.

A workaround is to Review Student work, and delete each page individually
