Include on screen compasses, ruler and protractor for mathematics teachers.
Smart board software has the good one.
As a physics student, the lack of geometric tools has been an utter pain in my life. MS onenote seems to be the best note taking app. Onenote for desktop seems to have a ruler and protractor feature at the very least. Why on earth would the app version, on which there is a higher chance of people using with a stylus than a computer/laptop not have these features?
we need a quick and convenient way of getting straight lines too
Don’t do it because JHJHUYJNYRHGJGYGJHKHUGHVJYIYJHJHUGUH

It would be great if the open up a way for developers to add plugins.

Something like in this video would be awesome: https://youtu.be/nw-ctlZek3E
I even would be happy if i could rotate a compass image, like I can in Powerpoint or Word.
As a Math teacher: please.
It is very important for students, to see the workflow of measuring an angle in a real scene. The triangle ruler would support this. Its just switching images, isnt it?

I miss still the compasses.
It is very important for the mathematical understanding. Unfortunately, GeoGebra does not fulfill this requirement, because in geoGebra it is not possible to make a circular arc (and only an entire circle).
The ruler in onenote can be manipulated easily to show angles. worked perfect for my use case of checking the angle between two lines :)!
yes please ASAP!
In windows One note has A ruler with angle which is as good as protractor or even a drafter. Only good thing missing is the Ruler should display drawn line length.
Compass is missing and is needed. The geometry shape tool does not do the job with arcs etc. Compass needs 2 points control so when selected should allow pin mode & then radius mode, once both are entered it can become a circle shape on screen as a guide and we can trace as much arc as we want.
What really amazes me is that the OneNote app has at least a ruler, but only on Windows. So MS already has the working code but fails to finally integrate it into the Ipad app!
Does anyone know if a protractor is coming to OneNote?
If you look in the Snip&Sketch app or the Sketchpad app in the Windows Ink Workspace there is both a ruler (which looks like the OneNote ruler) and a protractor. It would be great if the same protractor was available in OneNote.
Numbers on the actual ruler/protractor or what not.
I teach physics and we have to make scales for 1cm =10 Newton (1N).
Include scales of
with actual numbers

A compass would be awesome for constructions!!! Thanks!
The ruler HAS TO have a SCALE WITH NUMBERS so that you really can MEASURE something
Please add a protractor, compass, and straight edge to OneNote. This will really help in teaching geometry as well as physics.
This is really needed. Put this in and we can move away from SMART
Yes, this is URGENTLY needed by many! How can we get it? Are there any 3rd party apps that will do something similar?

In the OneNote app, there a ruler to help draw straight lines. In OneNote 2016, there is no ruler. Please, please, please, add this in! It's super helpful when teaching math concepts!
I would like to see a protractor, compass and ruler for use in a Geometry class
