The firefox addon stops suddenly to work and I have to clear all cookies related to it to work again, everytime it happens. I wrote here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office2013release-onenote/onenote-clipper-addon-for-firefox/66191085-d659-4359-a866-2b2cd97a177b
Microsoft redirected me here.
Thanks in advance!2 votes
It takes me to a new tab by duplication current tab.1 vote
why is clipper limited to smaller region of the web browser? It should make use of all of the available area, so we can see in one glance that if the mobilization was correct. Also Rad the article comfortably while highlighting it.1 vote
I recently updated to Office 2016 and noticed that my Surface Pro 3 pen was no longer able to open OneNote by clicking the top purple button??
What happened? How can I get that functionality back?2 votes
At moment using avast safe zone precludes using oneNote clipper3 votes
Make it possible to clip the URLs from current browser pages to OneNote.14 votes
Please add the functionality to clip regions the Edge extension. I read the porting of a Chrome extension to Edge is real easy ;-)2 votes
I am yet to find a version of the clipper that even purports to install in Firefox on linux. Please add this support.4 votes
Right now the "Clipped from" link is placed rather inconveniently at the bottom of the note, requiring scrolling to the bottom to find the link.
At the very top of the note, right under the title and date, would be perfect.11 votes
I recently added Planner to our Office 365 account and have a notebook in there. I have decided this is my default notebook now as I am using the GTD method with Planner as the front end and OneNote as the backend holding data. However, I cannot set email@example.com to use the Planner notebook. It isn't in the dropdown configuration. It should be given I have access to the notebook.4 votes
It would nice to be able to edit the title that is part of the clipping (including being able to see what OneNote captures as the title). Sometimes the title of the page is not very good or it would be nice to customize it.10 votes
Basically this means we'd have four options in the Clipper:
- Full Page
The new option, Link, would save only the URL to a new note.12 votes
A useful feature of the Evernote email-to-note function is the ability to add a 'stop' keyword to halt import at that point; which avoids the import of email footers. Could we add that ability to OneNote?2 votes
Many web pages have a tag like this in the page head. For example, here's the meta tag for reuters.com:
<meta name="description" content="Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in business, politics, entertainment, technology, video and pictures.">
It would be great if the clipper would grab the content and put it into the "note" field in the clipper.5 votes
Here's my scenario. I have notebooks on onedrive with c# code snippets and c# techniques. I don't open that notebook on my phone. I just need it at the pc where I develop code. However, I tend to read articles on my phone while on the train or in the DRs office about coding and when I see an interesting article about coding, I might need to snip it. The C# notebook is not available because it's not open on my phone! I should still be able to clip it there without having to open the whole notebook on my tiny phone

Allow the clipper extension or the share extension to store a bookmark without having to take a ugly looking screenshot of the whole page. It'd be great if OneNote can take inspiration from how the Notes app on the Mac and iOS and Evernote app does it11 votes
I have spent some time clipping web resources to One Note on my Mac and iPad. I was not checking the end product. So I was completely aghast by the inconsistent, poor quality of the screen and print rendering. Whole clipped pages appear on the screen and printed in thin columns, unstructured. Sometime nothing was not clipped. I have a lot of make up work. I would say all your resources should be directed at debugging the clipping and printing inconsistencies. I feel like the Lone Ranger without a Tonto. Does anyone share my woe?6 votes
I'm using OneNote Clipper (installed 12/03/2016 from onenote.com\clipper) on Firefox (v 45.0). It works properly only once. When I try to use the clipper next time, nothing at all happens. The dialogue box doesn't open.
To make it work another ONE time I have to delete cookie "Lastselectionsectionname". And so on. For me it's quite inconveniently to do this manipulations.9 votes
make onenote clipper more like jing
Jing is a really great free product that I use on a daily basis
use the functionality in JING to enable the following
add annotations & text to diagrams before adding to a note
ability to share a link directly and save on onedrive
ability to record a screencast and share via a link and add to a notebook
add in arrows, highlight specific areas, add in text and adjust colours
This would be a fantastic addition and would make me use more Microsoft products
- Don't see your idea?
