Will it ever be possible to fill a shape with color on OneNote
Hello,
Will it ever be possible to fill a shape with color on OneNote, similar to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint? Does anyone with any power in Microsoft read these questions?
I feel like a clown going back and forth copying colored rectangles from Word to OneNote, just so I can make an effective diagram. Perhaps OneNote developers would like me to print out a red filled circle from Word and tape it to my nose while I try to fill a shape in OneNote?
Thanks for nothing.

Angel: because word was designed for advanced formatting, onenote wasn't? Because word has a drawing engine, onenote has an inking engine? it seems logical that a word processor would have more formatting options (including more shapes and line options) than a note-taking app, where formatting doesn't matter by definition.
Although tbh I want it in onenote too.

How is it that Word has more clip art, SHAPES and line options, etc than a Note taking app? Can be very frustrating and disappointing- why make it harder for students when its already challenging enough!

It is a lame that function is not available, to be honest

I was just looking for this option also. It would be extremely helpful to have a shaded in shape.

I agree and vote, and also It won't be too much to add a possibility to connect shaps with each othe by line-connector like in Visio.

Yes, this would be so helpful.
And to be able to choose hex code for the colors I am filling a form with.
