Searchable Handwriting in OneNote for Windows 10
In OneNote 2016, you were able to search for inked handwriting throughout your notebooks. The absense of this functionality on OneNote for Windows 10 is the only thing holding me back from switching to the new version of OneNote

This appears to be caused by a difference in the default treatment of ink between OneNote 2016 and OneNote for Windows 10. In OneNote 2016, the default treatment of ink is "handwriting" and in OneNote for Windows 10, the default treatment of ink is "drawing". If you load a page created in OneNote for Windows 10 in OneNote 2016, select the ink, right-click to bring up the context menu, and select Treat Selected Ink As -> Handwriting, then searching works properly in both editions of OneNote. However there is no such option I can find in OneNote for Windows 10. Can you please change the default behavior for inking in OneNote for Windows 10 to handwriting and/or create a configurable default and/or provide a user selectable treatment for the ink as in OneNote 2016?
