Automatically update pdf printout
Automatically update pdf printout, when pdf file is updated

The refresh printout feature where it would show the new highlights I had made on a PDF document was one of my favorite features of earlier versions of OneNote. I just recently upgrade and although I like most of the newer version better, I find that I am really missing this feature because I have to open each PDF individually to see my highlights on the document, or I have to delete the page and reinsert the PDF to OneNote. I am a lawyer, and I use OneNote everyday in the courtroom. It was a very quick and efficient way for me to see what was important about each document without the delay associated with opening 10 different PDFs. This was a terrific feature from the previous versions of OneNote, and I strongly urge you to consider bringing it back.

I can't imagine that there are only 10 people who have found this to be a problem. I have relied heavily on this feature in OneNote. Without it I find OneNote to be terribly inefficient now. Who at Microsoft thought it was a good idea to remove this feature?

Really important to have this feature in an educational setting when you might update a word document with results or correct a mistake...
I recently had my computer upgraded to Windows 10. God behold, that was the worst thing I could have asked for. A new OneNote 2019 version when I was using 2016 a day ago - eeek! I am a serious user and when I was met with a completely different look, spent a few hours googling how to refresh a reprint!
What have you done? Yes, you can still make changes to your file but your lose the ability to show in the embedded (or print out) version your amendments.
Please can you bring back the refresh option? I am sure there will be other things that I can no longer do. The reworked look and feel I will just have to live with....
Word docs too
Why would this feature be removed? Thank god you can still use Onenote 2016 (although it is a bit less nice aesthetically) where this is so simple.
The loss of the ability to attach a file (.docx etc.) to a OneNote page and right click to insert printout AND right click to refresh printout after editing is a huge step backwards to work flow and collaboration. OneNote for Windows 10 has been a tremendous frustration after so many good years of OneNote.
