Cloud Attachment from file already in the Cloud / without uploading again somewhere else
I would like the possibility to embed a file located in the Cloud example in my OneDrive or a Teams SharePoint into OneNote.
If users don't have access to this file then the preview shall notify this.
currently you can only attach a file and upload to your OneDrive
If I embed a Word or Excel file that is already in my OneDrive or SharePoint site, OneNote should detect that and embed the original file instead or creating a copy and re-uploading it to a special folder.
There's a workaround where you can embed a file that's already in the cloud, if in your browser you open the file, and copy the url from the webpage into onenote. It's not very well publicised, but you can embed files whilst maintaining your own folder structure and without duplicating.
