Continue to support and develop OneNote 2016
Just about all the features of the 2016 desktop OneNote application that made it really useful; like History, Tags, (search facility and customisation), Quick Notes, Linked notes etc. have gone or have had the good parts removed. In fact, all the grown-up elements appear to have been ditched and instead we have stickers of "cats in suits". Most of the high ranking votes on this UserVoice are for the things people actually found useful in OneNote to being with. OneNote for Windows looks likes the result of a botched task on The Apprentice - get a grip!

i have to agree with this. They're not even close to the same tool for a user. If you want to make an app for all the tablet and smart phone users that they can talk to,and draw on, that's fine. But its not filling any where close to the same slot that OneNote 2016 was filling. There's an awful lot of us that - may be business users, or just specialized personal users - have spent years customizing things like templates , tags and more. To try and use the new app is really just going to push an awful lot of us to other applications..and they're out there. I have a tablet and a smart mouse, but when i'm settling down to work, I need a keyboard and a tool that does what I need. OneNote 10 is not it.
