Templates in UWP
If you're going to remove OneNote from Office 2019 and recommend people use the less full featured OneNote UWP app...you need to add pageTemplates from OneNote 2016/365 to the UWP app.
All functionality for Page Templates,

WHAT!!! I hope they don't get rid of the full version of OneNote, it is amazing and I just can't use the one online because it lacks the functionality of the full version, does not have the accessibility add on, and is just horrible in comparison.
This is an absolute need
Why the heck does Microsoft downgrade its wonderful products like this? I really hope they mend their ways and start incorporating these indispensable features back into their newer programs.
Plus: the possibility to share templates with other users.
This is especially important in a shared workbook where multiple users benefit from using the same template by keeping the workbook's content harmonized.
We have created several templates that are vital to the continuity of our operations. we would like to use OneNote that comes with Windows 10, but the lack of tag and template functionality has kept us from migrating. Is there a work around.?

Templates is a feature that I use very often in OneNote 2016. I have created a basic template for taking meeting notes that has been very useful for me in the last five years, at least. Please, include that feature in OneNote for Windows 10.
We want to be able to create Page Templates like we used to in onenote 2016
Let's face it - there are plenty of key features missing from OneNote UWP. It's currently a "OneNote Lite" and needs A LOT of work before it could remotely be considered a replacement for the proper desktop version of OneNote. It worries me that a member of the OneNote team wrote "Over the last few years we’ve been focused on making OneNote for Windows 10 the best version of OneNote on Windows" on another thread - it is self-evidently nowhere near this.
I love the template feature in OneNote 2016, taking client notes and recording client details on created templates in their own sections.
I could probably work with the OneNote UWP App but it needs templates for this user to switch from OneNote 2016.
Please make it so.

The lack of template support, and a couple other key features, keeps me from using the UWP app.
OneNote is a great app, but I can't make the switch till Templates are supported. Please port this feature to UWP.
OneNote Templates is a function that I used every day, need it in uwp very very much.
I rely on templates in OneNote they are a fantastic feature of OneNote 2016.
More people would too if they knew about them.
A little bit like OneNote itself - the best software that Microsoft have created that so many don't know about!
Maybe an opportunity for OneNote UWP to make templates visible and very useable for more customers?
Add the OneNote 2016 templates to the Windows 10 version.
I use OneNote for journaling as well as for business. I really like the page template and page background options that were available in OneNote 2016. Please consider putting them back into the latest version of OneNote.
