Office 365: Allow sharing individual sections and pages without sharing the whole notebook
As per my understanding, is possible to do it if you have a personal account but we use Office365 for business and it's not possible to do it. Why? Is when it's more useful, when you are working and sharing notes between different departments (who don't have to see the entire notebook, just the one note you are working together)...
Re-activating this and updating the title. As pointed out by one of the voters, OneNote for Windows 10 does not allow sharing individual pages from a work or school notebook.

This is definitely needed. I use one notebook for the semester and each class as a section. When I decide to share my notes with others, I have to share my entire notebook. That is too much.
Microsoft has completely rendered, a great product in one note 2016 totally ineffective. there are so many functions especially around collaborative that has been lost. The new product is terrible!
Would love to use a Notebook within our Teams group to be more collaborative and share knowledge but with 70+ people in our team, we also would like to keep some organization to the Notebook and allow additions to be vetted by certain people. Being able to lock down sections is needed

This definitely needs to move to the top of the priority list. If the entire premise of moving to the cloud is to be more collaborative, inclusive, and transparent, then why are the tools holding me back? Why do I have to make a new notebook every time I want to share a section/page with a different group?
Herpin the derp on this one boys.

This is not just a suggestion. This is a kinda' a must. This lack of functionality will deter most users in an Enterprise environment from using the product, IMHO.
This actually is a pretty straightforward requirement. I definitely would like to be able to share a single page or section only with my clients and/ or office team. When can we expect this to be a standard feature?
I usually only need to share a section or a single page. My workaround is to create a new notebook and share that. Pretty much anti-organization which I thought OneNote was supposed to help.
personally i think that it is more secure to share notebooks rather than parts of it but the useful thing would be to have some kind of sync to a master notebook i6e i work on a full notebook i do a smaller shared one BUT i would like changes in the smaller one to be updated in the big one automatically. for now i duplicated notebooks and i copy what changes from the shared one ... quite manual ...
To be clear, the need is not simply to direct another user to a specific page or section, but to grant guest access for individual pages and sections within a group notebook to users who are not members of the group where the notebook is located (this should include an option for external guest users as well).
This is released already

Sharing single pages is crucial in an enterprise-environment...please go on and give us this opportunity not only to private accounts, thank you!
Using a Notebook as your reporting tool, each section is a report. As the administrator you want to see all reports in one notebook, but the editors of the reports do not necessarily need to have access or visibility to the other reports (sections).
by having permissions at section level you can make sure that sections don't get edited by unauthorized people.
