Improve Inserted Tables
It's awesome that we can insert tables, like in Microsoft Word, however they do not share all the same features as so. You cannot merge cells in onenote, and this makes it difficult to make neat charts. I am a college student, and onenote is my primary tool for keeping notes in which to learn my material. It is easier for me to use tables and charts, but they lack the features needed to form and "shape" them quickly, and in a way that they are easy to view. Please add the "merge cell" feature to the insert table function into onenote.
I don't understand why Microsoft (given that Google is nipping at their heels) refuses to create consistency across all products.
Specially I would like to merge cells. It's quite useful.

Agreed. OneNote's table support is very basic. It should be improved to full-featured. Also the experience should be consistent over all Microsoft products. For instance if you insert a table from Excel into PowerPoint you are able to edit it directly, but in OneNote you can't.
