[BUG] Fix OneNote 2010 Sync With OneDrive (aka All Sections Disappear Bug 2017)
As of May 2017, users of Microsoft OneNote 2010 that sync their notebooks with OneDrive are experiencing an issue where all sections in their notebooks disappear. Users then have to manually sync all their notebooks which some users report will restore their sections temporarily. Eventually their sections will disappear again usually after an hour or two.

This problem is not fixed! This just happened to me this morning. I lost all of my notes for our biggest client right as I was calling in to a coordination meeting. Luckily they also use OneNote and also lost a lot of their information, so I guess Microsoft's incompetence is fairly affecting everyone. But rather than spreading the problem evenly to everyone, how about Microsoft just fix the problem for everyone!

Same time bug is not fixed. I am looking at the blank page right now where just few hours ago I had information. Sync does not help. Same time on my iPhone I still can see a content.
Guess, I will create new page on iPhone and copy content there. Nice work MS!
Most interesting is that Dany Khalife sent users to answers.microsoft.com while Dyan Rey (microsoft Agent from answers.microsoft.com ) sending users here...
Using OneNote 2010 in a corporate environment and this is still happening to me (as of June 6th 2018).
I've been actively promoting the use of this software for ages but now cannot as it has become too unreliable - Microsoft are shooting their own software in the foot here - FIX IT.
Also, re. inappropriate posting here - was directed here by the OneNote Answer Forum.... catch 22 strikes again.....
This is happening on OneNote 2016. It is not fixed.

I was having this issue for months, but it appears to have gone now. I don't know why. What helped when I was having it was disabling automatic sync on my Windows install of ON. I would habitually sync-all before leaving the office. When I started doing that, although inconvenient, I stopped having the disappearing issue. I also use the app on android and OS X
I am also having the same issue.
Anyone knows if it is fixed?
For the OneNote team, this is a remarkably serious problem that needs to be prioritized.

Over 2 weeks having this issue. disappears/reappears 5-10 times a day!!! HUGE PROBLEM HERE!!! Fix it Bill!

this is killing me and my daily work. microsoft, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
i'm completely handicapped right now. i go into meetings thinking i have info that i don't and am not as effective.
i don't like the new onenote versions. they are inefficient to navigate. onenote 2010 has the best layout because the navigation is much easier when you can see all the notebooks on left, sections at the top, and notes on right.
mine only loses the sections when it syncs to onedrive.
