Anchor notes to other objects on sheet
I NEED the ability to take notes adjacent to maps, photos, and spreadsheets that I copy and paste into OneNote. It is imperative that these notes stay with the object that they are describing or relate to. Without this ability, OneNote is useless for taking notes and ideas while discussing ideas. I have gone through a two hour session of taking notes to have them all become worthless because I did not know which part of the other object they were referring to. Back to paper and pen.

I'm a teacher using OneNote in my classes. I take a worksheet, print it to OneNote and then ask my students to click to type on the worksheet and "fill" it out. Since their text isn't anchored, they can type something above something else and all their text below can move. Super frustrating.
Enabling anchoring would enable more teachers to use OneNote like the virtual paper it claims to be.
Super need this! It would literally break a problem no one else is successfully tackling. And it could be responsive!
On a note taking app like OneNote which has a potentially infinite canvas and needs to be seen on multiple screen sizes, the connection of a set of notes to the subject or object they refer to (say a description for a photo, or a set of notes referring to a data table) needs to be maintained across platforms and screen sizes. Ideally, this would look like a logical link, so the notes stay together when the information is reflowed to fit a different size screen.
I believe this other request (https://onenote.uservoice.com/forums/327186-onenote-for-windows-windows-phone/suggestions/6355217-group-objects-and-anchor-ink-to-text-and-images) is the same or very similar and has a lot more votes. Please consider voting for it too.
This would be a great addition. I copy agendas into OneNote and then take handwritten notes. I would like to add the latest meeting agenda to the top of the page and have everything move down and stay together. It does not work like that now.
