Move multiple sections at once.
There is no way to select multiple sections and thus no bulk way to move multiple sections from one notebook to another.
idiotic that can´t move sections!
someone suggests it is possible to select multiple selections.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. it IS possible to select multiple pages but that is all.
What is of course a MUST have is ability to select multiple books from WITHIN SEARCH RESULTS in order to reorganise imports from elsewhere (like Evernote).
(in addition to Section moving)
But like all feedback here, it is clearly not read and has not been for years - so we are wasting our time. Neglected product form an otherwise great company.

Please give your costumers (who you hopefully value) access to their data, or at least make it possible to move several sections at a time from one notebook to another. OneNote2016 was much more user friendly and the development towards OneNote App for Windows 10 makes me reconsider using OneNote in the future.

This is possible, but not obvious. I'm on a Mac so YMMV if you're on Windows.
Select the sections you want to move and then click and drag them to the Notebook "dropdown" above the list of sections. It will flash a few times and then open for you to select the target notebook. While still holding your mouse down, mouse over the target notebook. it will flash a few times and then open that notebook. Mouse over to where you want the sections to be added and then release.

If you've ever found about 100 "Misplaced Sections", you would feel the pain here!
I also need this feature.. Just contemplating moving over from Evernote. Imported all 2,000+ notes. Very frustrating not being able to reorganize in bulk.
Any updates or input from the devs?

Bump for heads up devs!
Totally. It is a major downer when compared to evernote etc.
I want to search for keywords in pages then bulk move them or copy them, but I have to do it one silly page at a time. It is NOT a good feeling...
I made the mistake of clicking "Yes" when OneNote asked me if I wanted to close all notebooks. Now I'm sitting at my computer opening the notebooks (I have many!) one at a time, waiting for the little spinner to complete, then opening the next one, waiting.... rinse and repeat. This is insane. I LOVE OneNote, but there are some basic functions that really should be included.

3 years later and the dummies at MS still haven't added this simple request.

My mission is to move my local OneNote 2016 notebook to OneDrive.
I backed up my local OneNote notebook. Let's call it CurrentNotebook.
I used OneNote to create a new FutureNotebook on OneDrive.
After cussing for a bit while trying to find an intuitive way to move a Section Group full of documents en mass, I opened both CurrentNotebook and FutureNotebook in OneNote 2016, and am dragging section groups from CurrentNotebook to FutureNotebook. Seems to be working.

There needs to be a bulk friendly way to move sections or section groups, and pages, within a notebook to another notebook such that it can be done quickly and easily with minimal clicks. A list of sections and section groups could be added to a move dialog so that all the appropriate sections can be moved in a single operation. Having to do anything "one section at a time" when moving notebook contents that have potentially hundreds of sections and section groups in this day and age is maddening.

It is still not supported.
This is actually possible.
In OneNote UWP for Windows 10, select multiple sections with Ctrl+mouseclicke and drag an drop them to a different notebook.
Could anyone from the OneNote team confirm that my statement above is correct, and if so, please comment with which release it was deployed and close this item?
While this may have been possible in OneNote2016, I am not seeing a way to select Multiple sections to move in OneNote for Win10. We just moved to o365 and OneDrive and prior to this some users had personal OneNote notebooks with business information.
We now wish to separate them, but users are stuck to one section at a time.
