How can we improve OneNote for Windows?

Improve List Management

I would really like seeing better facilities for handling lists:
Rearranging items
Promoting and demoting items
Collapsing and expanding a item and its sub-items
I used this feature often in the late, lamented, ecco pro utility
and use it now in the online checkvist application

There are also some other good suggestions for list management improvement already posted: sorting, drop-lists

Microsoft added this nice lists feature[1] to OneNote for iPhone a few years ago.

You could edit and rearrange items, hide completed items, and even see a preview of the list in the pages list. I think they removed it in the latest versions.

Hope they bring this feature back, and add it to every platform.

OneNote allows you to hide completed items. Good change.

OneNote should also allow you to sort the items in a ToDo List alphabetically. Would really help to be able to find items in a List of any length.

I really like OneNote. Almost too many good features to list but uniformity across platforms and the ability to share with other are major pluses. OneNote has become my almost exclusive way to save information about almost everything. Great job. And, particularly, great job listening to those of us who use OneNote.
