i want to be able to draw on onenote onlineeeee30 votes
My students and I use OneNote, but since we don't have one to one laptops the district won't let them sign onto the desktop version of OneNote. Therefore, my students can access the drawing function on it. Sometimes, I like to take screen shots of a text and be able to write on it, highlight, or add notes to it with the drawing tool functions. Could this be made possible?44 votes

Enable teachers to see into Collaboration areas in Classroom OneNote that have been password protected.2 votes
We no longer support Classroom. it has become a part of the Microsoft Teams for Education.

16.5.2016 microsoft enabled embedded online materials to be played within Onenote Online.
However, mere playback is not useful in educational use of Onenote Online. It would be more useful have also a possibility to insert online content (embeddable content) into Onenote Online.
Now one needs to grab tablet or run desktop onenote in order to insert content into his/her Onenote pages.80 votes

provide different colours for colouring in cells as it is possible in Excel.13 votes
Thank you for your feedback. Note that table cell coloring is now available in OneNote Online.
It would be nice if I could use the default "Open in new tab" function in my browser. That way I can have the Library in one tab and have the instructions in an other one.16 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. This was added to the page list context menu in OneNote Online.
I'm a bit bit surprised that this has to be requested but OneNote has not arrived yet as a true mobile platform. As far as I'm concerned, it pretends to be but it's not. Please add the ability for tags to sync across all platforms. If I create tags on the desktop, they should be available to use on the online version or mobile.83 votes
Word Online can display math formula created using the builtin equation editor, but OneNote online cannot. After this many years MS bought OneNote, it is surprising that OneNote is still not fully integrated into the Office family.11 votes
Thank you for your suggestion, note that OneNote Online can now render equations. Editing will continue to be tracked by https://onenote.uservoice.com/forums/327183/suggestions/17797918.
After uploading an image, I'd love to be able to crop it quickly in OneNote. Sometimes I have a screenshot that I upload and want to remove the browser bar, or other remainders of the screen. Now I need to process the image first and use other tools before I can upload it.78 votes
No longer do you need to edit your images before adding them to OneNote!
To crop, right click the image and click Image Crop. Drag the handles to set the final image, then click Crop.

Add the ability to insert ink using the web app.84 votes
All Drawing funtions and colour options. You have the options to use computer mouse/laptop mousepad or Touch screen. Usable on Web browsers.56 votes
It would be great to drag and drop documents like Excel Sheets into my OneNote Online. This is because I really like to organize my Meeting Protocols with OneNote but the protocols need to be native *xls and OneNote is not installed on all Meeting Laptops so I have to use the online Version.43 votes
You can now add any file to a page within OneNote Online using file attachment. For more information on this capability, view this blog. https://blogs.office.com/2015/11/12/onenote-in-november-embed-video-record-audio-insert-files-and-more/
As an engineer, I found that some critical functions are missing in One Note. For example, I want to write down some equations with special characteristics in my web app notebook and draw some simple flowcharts. It would be desirable and pretty handy to develop these functions which allow handwriting and drawing in the OneNote content. Thanks,31 votes
My company has recently started using OneNote Online for idea sketching & brain storming. We are using Linux in our development environment and therefore are restricted to OneNote Online. Being able to draw and sketch in the Online App would be most beneficial to our productivity as well as the productivity of other companies in a similar situation.56 votes

In OneNote Online there is undo.
If you select the “home” menu you see the first part on the ribbon menu is two arrows for “undo”. When there is something to undo you can click on the left arrow, and to “undo the undo” you can click the right one.
From the keyboard can also use Ctrl+Z (Windows) or ⌘+Z (Mac) to undo your last actions.
Deleting an old unused Notebook seems to be an obvious and easy update!2 votes
You can delete notebooks by going to www.onedrive.com, locating the notebook you want to delete, right-clicking on it, and choosing Delete.
I am a student and I like to take notes with my peers in class. We currently use Microsoft word because of its real time collaboration in taking notes, but being able to do this in OneNote with its organizational powers would be just absolutely incredible and offers a significant advantage over Evernote1 vote
Hi Kevin, OneNote already supports this. If you are using a shared notebook, real-time co-editing is already available through either the apps or OneNote Online. You may find this blog post useful: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/descapa/archive/2012/08/20/sharing-in-onenote-2013.aspx
