Hide completed tasks
It'd be great if you could hide completed tasks in a task list.
Basically, once the checkmark is checked the item should either disappear, move to another page or move down the list perhaps.

Good news! In the latest version of OneNote for iPhone, we’ve added this functionality. We haven’t added it to other OneNote apps yet, but we are considering doing so based on the response that we get from the iPhone version.
If you would like to have this functionality in specific versions of OneNote (e.g. Windows, Android, Mac, etc.) please submit a suggestion and choose the appropriate version of OneNote so we know where this feature is most important to you. Thanks!

Dear Microsoft OneNote Team,
Please add the Hide Checklist Items feature to OneNote and all platforms. It is desperately needed. I use the Mac version for both personal and work to-do lists and notes. Hiding Completed Items should be a core component - it's absolutely essential. It seems absurd that it's missing, and I almost left OneNote over the lack of just this one feature alone.
Please take note of what I just said - I almost quit using OneNote simply because it lacked just this ONE feature. Many of the other features are nice but, in reality, go mostly unused. In contrast,
EVERY single OneNote to-do list builder would use Hide Checklist Items.Every. Single. One.
Oh, and did I happen to mention that every single OneNote to-do list user would use this feature?
Please read the other comments and note that other users have actually quit using OneNote because of just this ONE feature. Now ask yourself, "Why would people quit OneNote over just this feature?" The answer is because it's essential to their experience. It's not a want, it's a need.
Look, I don't know why this feature wasn't built in, but, dear OneNote Team, you built a car that's missing a wheel. For the sake of the 537 other commenting drivers and myself who rely on this car to get us where we need to go, not to mention the plethora of silent non-commenters we represent, and not to mention the Googleplex of others out there who might choose to buy your car if it were whole, please put the wheel on.
Amen.

Please add the feature to hide the item once checked in the Windows desktop version. As others have said this is useless without it.

I'm flabbergasted this is a feature that users have had to request over and over for years! The classic To Do list is the core use case of the software. And To Do lists allow you to tick them off and have them removed from the list once there done..i.e. not a to do anymore...and user gets the satisfaction of ticking task off and seeing the list shrink. For this still not to be available in the Windows desktop version beggars belief. Ok. I get it that this is the new cuddly, no longer the evil empire Microsoft...but to make the iOS version better than Windows is going a bit far ;-)

I love using the app on iPhone, but without this feature on other devices it becomes useless. I’m about to swap to other apps I can use instead of onenote

What is the point of building up lists of hundreds of items if it is hard to see the ones that actually need doing? I'm going to find a more useful app that can do this

WTF Microsoft - is it that hard to add that feature? Really a non-functioning product without that feature. Even Cozi has this feature. Why Truncated Features (WTF)?

It is an essential must have feature else need to use other options for the same task - does not make sense to use different apps for one element

Please add 'hide completed' function to Android...not really sure why you'd wait to gauge the response from iOS users, of course it's a necessary feature on all platforms!!

Please make this function available on Windows. (And also perhaps remove the completed flag above since that is only partially true given the function only exists on iOS). People have been asking for this for years so this would be a relatively simple implementation that would go a long way to support users.

Come on now, Microsoft. It's been five years and you haven't added a basic feature to OneNote for Windows or iPad. Please do it right away.

Would love to vote to add this feature to Windows but "Vote" is grayed out on my view. How do I vote here?
