Support for iOS Shortcuts app
Several journaling apps like Bear and Day One support note creation through the new iOS shortcuts app. Would love to see OneNote support this feature too, with actions like adding a new note, inserting content (text, pictures...) into an existing page, etc.
Evernote is in there, and a bunch of other productivity apps. This has become a competitive disadvantage now, not a nice-to-have
Strongly agree with Andy & Whylie. The need of OneNote (too me) is second only to Excel. As a writer, the value of being able to extract the hard-earned distilled visions in my head, is paramount. Those visions are so hard to summon then once they are, in order to get them out i.e. transposing them without loss of context or material, requires me to immediately jot the visions down. That said, some cross platform cooperation would significantly increase the value of OneNote for this reason. I've just explained in (too) many words, that I need a "Shortcut".
Ability to add a note into a specific section of a notebook and create shortcuts for it would be extremely helpful and useful
”Clip Article to OneNote”
- prompt User for the selection of notebook > page
At minimum functionality, similar to the built-in iOS ”Clip Articles” shortcut.
Or even being able to link to a single note in iOS. Currently only notebooks. Single note links generated on the desktop do work in iOS though.

Being able to create, open, insert, append and much more with Onenote via Shortcuts would be killer. It's the best notetaking app and adding this feature would tip it over the edge in my opinion.
