How about a page size option.
How about a page size option. It’s crazy trying to print out hand written notes. At least allow for an a4 guide so we can keep our notes to a page size .
Found WORKAROUND/FIX for page sizes
Open OneNote 2016 (not the Windows 10 OneNote App) on Windows (don't know if this works with Mac).
Open a new page and set it to your desired size. Then sync it with your iPad (you must be logged in with the same Account).
It will display the correct size on your iPad now. In order to use it properly just copy and paste it as often as you need it. Also save one as a Template!
I hope this solves your issue, it certainly helped me al lot.
This feature should definitly be implemented by Microsoft and it is obviously possible! But I guess they don't want you to switch to an iPad! Improve the Surface Pro X guys!

I have bought an Ipad instead of the Surface device because Onenote hasn't a page size option like A4 etc. Onenote would be the best app if this only feature is included. I have been using Onenote app since the begging of the Corona pandemic started on my laptop. Then for taking handwritten notes I bought an Ipad. I still use Onenote but not so much. I use it as an additional or raff uses.
I don't know why Onenote has not the page and cover shape like GOOD NOTES-5 and Notability. But I know one thing that I'll buy a Macbook if Onenote doesn't have the page and cover size option. Certainly..............
If this one feature (page size option) were to be included in OneNote's next update, OneNote would instantly become my main productivity tool. Having to spend 10 seconds here and 5 seconds there resizing a page template on my Surface Book before I could start enjoying the Surface Pen is aggravating. Especially because the alternate note applications on the Microsoft Store are mediocre at best. If I had an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil, I would have access to an abundance of high quality note apps (page size option included). Which makes me wonder, why not buy a cheaper, non detachable laptop and an iPad Pro bundled with the Pencil for a better experience and a heavier wallet to boot?

For heaven sake, please implement this option. I can't bear it anymore. I stopped using OneNote for private use because of it. For business, it's included in my Office pack from the company and I'm bounded to it...
At least give an a4 guiding line.
It is useful not just for printing your handwritten notes, but also for reviewing them on PC without having to change page size all the time.
This feature would be very useful not just for printing, but for sharing handwritten notes as PDF with people who may not have OneNote. Ideally, we could limit the width of the page, but have an unlimited (top-bottom) length. The Notability App has figured this out (fixed-width; there's a line that separates the bottom of one A4 page with the next A4 page; once you reach the last "page" a new one is added automatically).
of cause I want a page size option.
if it will add, I also want to select infinity width or height.
infinity page size is a good point of OneNote, but sometimes I feel complicated.
So I want to set limited width and infinity height.

We need paper size not for printing, but to have a paper width limit so that I know where to start next line. How am I supposed to take notes with a digital pen otherwise. This feature was in OneNote 2016, and Microsoft is removing it in all new versions, despite that we have been asking it for YEARS!
I was a total Microsoft user: I use to use Windows PC+Laptop+Tablet+Windows Phone. I was eventually forced to use iPad because I cannot set page width in OneNote app (2016 desktop version is not exactly tablet friendly), and thus I switched to iMac+Macbook+iPad+iPhone. (Plus, Microsoft give up Windows phone while I was still using and supporting the product.)
We desperately need this feature and OneNote will be perfect.
Exporting to A4 is also good for us to save/share/archive our old notes and being able to view them in a comfortable format which all of us are already accustomed to.
Why are people still printing pages and harming the environment.
Don’t they realize that OneNote is not for printing
Please add a page size option

This is my only gripe with OneNote. I sometimes like to print out my notes and it would be very useful.
People have been asking for this feature for a very very long time.

Yes please we want a4 size

This could operate (for the user at least) very similarly to Excel, where the page/worksheet is infinite, but the user can select from different views, set page size/orientation etc. so that formatted documents can be exported or printed. Additionally, in Excel, when a column or row extends beyond the set border, it is pushed to the next page - this concept should be applied to the text boxes in OneNote. I was pretty shocked the first time I printed from OneNote and found that not only were text boxes not kept together, but that the text itself was sliced by the print border.

An option to disable infinite canvas is needed. Infinite canvas is very good. But A4 paper size restriction is needed for many. Helps in sorting and printing notes.

Options to print a4 and be bounded in app by a4 sizing would help significantly. There are venues and group settings that I can’t use an electronic device. Being able to work off paper notes that I originally did in OneNote would be amazing.
Please add this feature. Give us an option to disable infinite canvas. For both desktop app and mobile app.
