Mac: Specify a Default Font & Font Size
In OneNote > Preferences... please add a place to specify a default font and font size. Currently, whenever I add text to a new page or a new container, I have to change the Font Size from the miniscule default Calibri 11 to a more readable 14.
Thank you for your suggestion and votes. We added the ability to set your default font and size on Mac. In preferences, there’s a “Edit & View” menu that can be used to set the default. Changes to the default font won’t affect existing notes, but will be applied to all future notes.
Please add a way to change the default font COLOR.

I tried making a new page after changing default font then copying the body of the old page to the new one and it still reverts to Calibri (grrr).
It's 2019, and this "default font going back to Calibri" problem still prevails...
Please add default font COLOR option.
Can you also allow the ability to change the font color on iPads?
COLOR U *******
Has there been an update on the ability to change default color??

Would be really practical (in private & professional workplaces) to have :
- standard font
- standard fontsize
- standard colour
- standard workbook-colour
- standard page-tab-colour

We need the ability to change the default font color.
Add the option to change font color
Microsoft.... you left out Color! Please allow us to change the default color, this is important, such as "red" so that our individual notes stand out from all the black text on a PDF printout or powerpoint!
Everyone else, please visit here to vote for it:
Can you add a feature to allow to set default font color to a different color

Please add the (hopefully) small enhancement of a default font/color for the Text Editing in the OneNote iOS app. I know many people would greatly appreciate this improvement!
default font color plz...............
I have the same problem as Peter, has this been resolved
Regardless of what my default font is set to using OneNote on my iPad Air the font Arial Unicode will always be used. I can set the default font to any setting but regardless of the changes Arial Unicode is the default setting used. I then have to go and highlight the text and set it to the font i want it to be.
Please fix this as this recently started to occur as a result of one of the updates it got i didnt have this problem when i first started using OneNote.
I would also like to have a default color!!!
PLEASE HAVE DEFAULT COLOR TOO !!!
