Please enable keyboard shortcut to hide the navigation pane

We can press ctrl+shift+G to open the navigation, it would be great if we can press the same combo to close it again.

Found a workaround by hitting fn+F6 three times (icon with 3 stack lines is highlighted) and hit space. Hit fn+F6 again to go back to the page.
I agree! it is so weird that they do not have the shortcut and they also do not have the option in the menu bar for mac users to make customized shortcuts for irt.

I have been looking for the exact same thing. I always hide the navigation bar because I want to use the full screen estate when working on a note. Hence, I always have to manually move my fingers away from the keyboard to use the mouse to hide/show the navigation bar again. This slows down my productivity by a large amount since I switch between different pages quite a lot. Please add a shortcut option to
1. hide navigation bar
2. show navigation bar
3. show navigation bar and automatically open the search (loop icon) to search through other pages
That would increase productivity and working speed a ton.
Using mouse to close the navigation bar is hurting my productivity since I use split view most of the time. It was natural for me to close the navigation bar immediately after selecting a page so that I have more screen space. Earlier escape key was doing the trick.
seconded. please added a keyboard shortcut equivalent to clicking show/hide navigation.
it's something I do constantly during the day and having to use the mouse to do it is a real pain
