I love OneNote...BUT
For reasons beyond my control, I had to switch to Mac. The Mac version of Onenote makes me sad, because it can't do what the pc version does.
1) No "send to Onenote" option
2) No local saving options
3) No sync options to anything but one cloud service
Please, please don't punish Mac users with limited functionality...it's really a bummer. Is there a chance these functions will be added to the Mac version? This is such a bummer.
Yes, it is pretty sad that Microsoft can't compete on its service and products, but has to screw over Mac users with the functionality differences.

This, right here. I'm suffering through DEVONthink as an alternative and I find it punishing and ugly and counter-intuitive after getting used to OneNote on a Windows computer. I'd like to save locally and/or to a network share, not in the cloud, but I'm left without OneNote for Mac as an option when I bring my own device to the workplace. (OneDrive is a no-go on the organizational network.)
