Why is OneNote adding so much data to my "Containers" in my Library?
I don't really know what Containers are but I realized that OneNote had added thousands of files to my mac, under both "cache" and "OneNoteOfflineCacheFiles" and they were taking up A LOT of space.
I honestly don't know why it's doing this. If it was some kind of local backup then that would be great, but they aren't anything of the sort. I've tried opening them after accidentally losing some data on OneNote and the "onebin" files can't even be opened by the program.
I deleted them all and nothing bad happened to my OneNote, so what is their purpose? If they're necessary for the program to run, why can't they be automatically deleted after 30 days?
What are these One Note ".bin" files in my cache? They are taking up all of my laptop's storage!
Please, we need an answer! If OneNote is all about having everything stored online and not providing a local backup, then what are all of these superfluous, unusable local files for?
