I need to be able to easily import from more note-taking apps such as Evernote and Letterspace and OneNote, etc!!

  3. option-delete to delete words

Apple offers a default behavior for OPT-DELETE (delete word to the left of the current insertion point), but OneNote doesn't implement it. (see: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201236 )

It should. In fact, using the OPTION key for many things in OneNote is extremely non-standard (and, in many cases, simply doesn't work at all, such as OPTION-SHIFT-LEFT ARROW which should select the word to the left, SHIFT-LEFT ARROW does select the character to the left of the insertion point).

  6. Cursor Movement

I would like to be able to press the <alt><Option> key and a directional arrow which would move the cursor in the direction of the arrow I press word by word. Now it just goes letter by letter. If I press <Command> and an arrow the cursor moves to the end of that line either start or end. Most word processors and emails have this movement capability.

  7. Mac - Option Arrow selects text as default on Mac, instead of Command.

Change back to MAC default instead of Microsoft for Mac weird default

  8. Move the current paragraph keyboard shortcut conflicts with macOS built-in shortcut

    Per https://support.office.com/en-us/article/OneNote-for-Mac-keyboard-shortcuts-20fa1619-0f1c-4f83-a3cc-41e12b366f2f?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

Move the current paragraph or several selected paragraphs up
    is:
COMMAND + Shift + Up Arrow

This doesn't work because the masOS builtin shortcut for text selection overrides it:

Select the text between the insertion point and the beginning of the document.
    is:
    Shift–Command–Up Arrow

  10. Allow Custom Default Zoom Levels

Under OneNote's 'Preferences' window's 'Edit & View' tab's 'View' subheading, users are currently able to specify a default zoom level but can only provide one of the default presets ('25%,' '50%,' '75%,' '90%,' '110%,' '125%,' '150%,' and '200%') as the value for this setting. Could the pop-up menu used to specify users' default zoom levels be changed to a combo box for parity with OneNote's Ribbon's 'View' tab's zoom level specifier so that users can specify custom default zoom levels like my preferred '175%?'

  11. OneNote to PDF horisontal save

It is possible to save OneNotes a PDF file, but only in vertical position. Often i write notes outside the traditional A4-size, but if I need to print, it gets weird. Is it possible to make a function with possibility to save your documents in horisontal position like in word for example?

  15. Why can I not import Notebooks from PC to the Mac software?

Using PC at work and Mac at home, but I cannot import the Notebooks into the Mac. Bummer. So now I am considering going over to Evernote.

  17. Sections in sidebar

I'm using OneNote for Mac as an Educator. With a lot of sections (student notebooks), having them as tabs does not scale. Having them in a sidebar (as in OneNote online) would be better.

  18. Why is OneNote adding so much data to my "Containers" in my Library?

I don't really know what Containers are but I realized that OneNote had added thousands of files to my mac, under both "cache" and "OneNoteOfflineCacheFiles" and they were taking up A LOT of space.

I honestly don't know why it's doing this. If it was some kind of local backup then that would be great, but they aren't anything of the sort. I've tried opening them after accidentally losing some data on OneNote and the "onebin" files can't even be opened by the program.

I deleted them all and nothing bad happened to my OneNote, so what is their purpose?…

  19. add the class notebook tab so it makes assessment of work easier for teachers

Develop the same tab as the Windows platform for Class Notebook - it would also be really helpful if it could be developed for iOS, so the Apple Pencil could be used for assessing work and selecting the next piece of work easily.
