  4. Update Timestamp to latest edit time.

It should be possible to update the creation timestamp/date that is shown on top of every page. Best would be if the timestamp was showing when page was last updated. Just like in normal Word-documents, we're you have date for last update of document.

  5. OneNote on Android: How to remove Warning "connection may charge extra... turn on airplane"

    Hi,

Since a few months, i have a Warning on Onenote (always when I use my normal mobile internet): "we noticed the connection you're on may charge extra. To turn off data usage, turn on Arplane mode in Settings".

The Warning civers one third of display (I have Motorolla Motto G4Plus).

The warning disappears when the mobile is connected to wifi.

How can I turn off this warning?

    BR

    Leon

  6. More pen and highlighter colors pls im starving

Having only like 10 color options for pen and 2 for highlighters is very depressing when you take a lot of notes. There should be a color wheel/gradient option for both- im considering changing apps because of the lack of options for Android

  9. Make use of all S-pen features in Samsung

First, thank you very much for this amazing app! While I love it in my Samsung tablet, there is one thing that Samsung Notes has that I miss in OneNote. That is... the amazing selections of colors and brushes that come with a Samsung Tablet that are not available in OneNote for Android. Would it be possible to integrate them? The writing experience in Samsung Notes is far better than OneNote, although in terms of organisation, syncing with computer... OneNote is far superior

  10. Configurable function for Samsung S-Pen's button

The Samsung Tab S3 comes with an stylus called S-Pen which features a button for the thumb. In Samsung's note taking app this can for example be used to switch to the eraser.

It would be a nice feature, if you could configure OneNote to react to this button, for example by cycling through pens (press to go to eraser, press again for the highlighter press again to be back to normal pen), or by acting as certain other pen while you hold the button.

With such a feature, the button would have a meaningful function and so you can…

  11. Editing Note Container's width on Android's OneNote to visualize long outlined notes better (like on Windows 10)

It's of a big need to add the feature of editing Note Container's width and position for OneNote Android App like on Windows.

I have long nested paragraphs with many subordinate paragraphs and long outlines. This makes the text not to be fitting good in the default small width of Note Container on the OneNote Android app. Below is attached screenshots (desktop_screenshot_1, android_screenshot_1) to show the difference of displaying the same notebook page on Windows app and Android app.

A temporary trick I've tried is that I added another Note Container from the Windows app. Surprisingly, this enabled the Note…

  12. Reorder (Move) Sections within and across Notebooks

Need to be able to drag and drop Sections within and across Notebooks. Within a notebook, to re-order them and across notebooks to move a complete section from one notebook to another.

  13. Chromebooks

10inch + Chromebooks should be able to get full featured versions of office and it should count against our full desktop version limits. ****, you could kill two birds with one stone and make it a Linux version because we can use them too.

  14. Enable Check Box Clicking When Notes Are Read Only

It would be cool for Android (and probably for all devices that aren't laptops or desktops) to have an option to prevent editing of notes, with the exception of check boxes. I use To Do notes for presentations so I can click of the information as I've presented it. But each time I go to check a box, it thinks I want to edit the page and I have to worry about editing information by mistake.
I currently work around this by using the pen option to check the boxes instead of the actual To Do List Check. would be…

  15. Different OneNote versions?

I really hate it that I have to use all kind of different versions of OneNote. I have Windows 10, Android and iOS.

Why not one version on all those operating systems?

  16. android widget display section

I'm a fan of the GTD method on completing tasks by context. It would be really great if I could use an Android widget that displays only a specific section of my notebook. For example, I have a section called "Phone" or "Errands" would be really handy to have displayed on a Android desktop.

  17. Make the OneNote widget more consistent with the OneDrive widget

If you look at them side-by-side they are similar but different enough that it's weird. Overall the two widgets need to be more consistent. The size, spacing, and icon style should all be consistent. I wouldn't mind not having the full OneNote name on there, as long as the logo was correct.

  19. "Cannot open a notebook located on a legacy sharepoint server"

I setup OneNote/Android for the first time by adding my home account first (@outlook.com) and then my work account (@microsoft.com). When I tried to open a work notebook, i got this error...
"OneNote cannot open a notebook located on a legacy sharepoint server"

    I found a work around:
    Logout all accounts
Login to work account first (my @microsoft.com account)
Login to home account next (my @outlook.com account)
    Open work notebook...opens as expected.

This appears to be a bug.

  20. Chromebook, timeout occurs when typing in unlocked password protected sections.

When updating my journal on Android version on a Chromebook, which is password protected, typing is interrupted by app applying the time out and needing the password to unlock the section again. It appears that even though I am typing it thinks the app has been inactive because I'm not touching the screen as I would be on a phone.
The app needs to be aware that it is installed on a Chromebook and therefore should expect both only touchpad and keyboard interaction sometimes.
