Remove the Ink Shifting
Hi, I'm using Galaxy Tab S4 and I'm facing an issue. Whenever I write the ink shifts slightly and sometimes a lot. It is clearly noticeable. Please guide me what to do.
I'm using app version : 16.0.11929.20126 (which is the latest as of this date)
Updated on: Aug 18, 2019
FunFact: This issue does not happen when I use the older version of OneNote i.e. of January 2017 (yes that old) but that version has a lag in handwriting and also not as smooth as the newer ones. But yeah that does not have this ink shifting issue.
Here is my screenrecording of the issue:

I have contacted on the OneNote Community and there they told me to post it here. Please resolve it.

I still have this problem, and it is both on my old Tab S4, and on my new Tab S7 (bought at release).
It's better on the S7, but it still persists. And Microsoft even work with Samsung now, which makes it amazing they still don't prioritize 365 for Android... -

Please fix this as it renders the point of subscribing for 365 pointless. Why do the IOS version get priority treatment when you are releasing the surface duo?

Any updates to give us on this issue, Microsoft?
It's been present for quite a while now, and not a single update has fixed it.
We want to use your product, but you haven't even shown that you care by commenting on this issue. You are even developing a phone that runs Android (Surface Duo) that has support for the Surface Pen. I sure hope you take the time to test the handwriting experience of your own note-taking app on your own hardware, because maybe then you will see how annoying the issue is.

I have the same problem. I hope Microsoft will fix it ASAP. But Microsoft... "they are so pedestrian." as Steve Jobs used to say.

I would not have bought a Galaxy tab if I'd known about this issue - and other shortcomings in the Android version. So disappointing!
If MS are not prepared to produce a comparable product for Android, it would almost be better if they didn't offer one at all.

I have been seeing this same issue for the past year or so on both my Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S4. It drives me nuts and makes the app feel like a less-polished handwriting experience on Android when compared to Samsung Notes, Squid, and even Google Keep.
OneNote works so well between the platforms I use at work (Windows, iOS, and Android) that I don't want to stop using it, but at this point I have stopped using my S Pen for note-taking altogether on my Note 9 and Tab S4. It's just too annoying of an issue, especially when I need to make precise, close-up edits to my handwriting. It's a shame, because OneNote is by-far the most feature-filled note-taking app that I have used.
I'm hopeful that this issue will get resolved and I'm patiently awaiting any sort of response from Microsoft.

EDIT: I also made a quick video to show the issue: https://www.screencast.com/t/9x8Qf1b3

I also write in the Onenote Community.... SAME ISSUE.
on two different tablets, Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 10 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.
Everytime i write a note with the pen, the lines shift up just a bit, but enough to be very annoying and creating issues in the writing.
I can report that the previous version
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/microsoft-corporation/onenote/onenote-16-0-8827-2090-release/
from Jan 2, 2018 does not exhibit this issue!! IT WORKS (I side installed the apk). Indeed, it is not a fix. This version does not have support for the button functions in my galaxy pen, but I can come.
Dear Microsoft, could you please advice?
I put some text below to generate tag for google bots, so this answer can be tracked. There are many people around with the same issue.
