Make Android version of OneNote similar to Windows 10 version
The OneNote app for Android is horrible in comparison to the Windows 10 version. I am an engineering student and I have used the Windows 10 version and absolutely loved it. However, I recently started using a Samsung Tab S3 and I have realized the Android version is absolutely terrible compared to the Windows 10 version. The following are my reasons:
1. The button on the S Pen is not able to be used as an eraser which, when having to take quick notes, is an inconvenience.
2. The pen options are absolutely laughable, there is plenty of space to add more pens which should be able to be the same colors as the Windows 10 version.
3. There are only TWO highlighter colors available and this is not acceptable when going through 50+ PowerPoint slides.
4. The only erase option is "full line eraser", there is no "erase piece of line" eraser.
I, and I am sure many other students, would Greatly appreciate making the Android app almost identical, if not completely, to the Windows 10 version. I would hate to stop using the Android app but if necessary I will due to it being too different from the Windows 10 version. I know I have said "version" multiple times but i hope it drives you to change the Android app. Thank you very much and I hope to see a change soon .

On a Chromebook, the OneNote App does not respond normally to the touchpad when trying to select text, or to many standard keyboard shortcuts. The online version does. Come on, Microsoft!
Navigation Panes improve following the latest updates on the desktop, with adjustable column widths and the possibility to decide to fix only the page column.

Please, bring drawing capabilities like ios or windows to android, it is absolutely necessary
Please please please add all the capabilities the ios version has (I'd love the microsoft version but I'll settle for ios). I just got the galaxy tab s4 and im so frustrated that microsoft seems to not care about this massive consumer base.

Please make the android OneNote app great! Other features i would like to use:
- Handwriting conversion (to text and to math formular)
- Better options to embed pictures (both from camera and from the device storage) often onenote scales down the picture quality which is a no go for pictures that contain text.
- Embed screenshot pictures
- organize (or at least use) class notebooks
- Full Text search
- and many more
maybe there need more functions for student to handwrite, more and more tablets have a pen for handwriting ,and more and more student using a android tablet in class
Android version even don't have same functions as IOS version

PLEASE do this! I really don't want to move away from OneNote, but now that I use both an Android phone and tablet, I'm really quite disappointed/frustrated with the user experience. Considering how many more android users there are in the world, it seems like Microsoft is missing a huge opportunity here...
It also seems like there is a different layout on android for phones and tablets.
WHilst this makes sense, PLEASE make it an option for the end user as there are devices which blur the line between phones and tablets like the galaxy note, and I dont want to be stuck in phone mode. Thanks
For now, I have moved to squid app. Its basic is better than onenote in android. I had to purchase some features to make it work like onenote on desktop. But I'm happy with it now.
Onenote android version should have at least been comparable to Squid basic, but falls short.
I've moved to another app that supports shapes, but will be more than happy to return to onenote if this is added in.
Shapes, formulas, lines, ray's, graphs, etc., are extremely important to students, especially in higher math such as college algebra, trig and calculus
I totally agree with all the comments. There's no reason why both versions can't have the same functionality.
Even the iOS version is much more robust.
Please get this fixed!
I'm a paying Office 365 customer and it's a shame that OneNote for android tablets is hot garbage compared to the OneNote 2016 app that I have installed on my desktop.

Insert pdf feature is a must
YES! I really want another pen option beyond basic and marker (like fountain pen to make my handwriting look better), a color wheel for pen/marker AND highlighter instead of just 15 basic color options for pen/marker and 2 for highlighter, to control how transparent the highlight is and the size of it tool.
I use onenote for digital planning and scrapbooking, but I really want more tools for Android.
Yes, I am studying engineering and it is frustrating to use an app with great potentiality that is completely weakened, if it does not improve I will be forced to change applications.
For example, I'm noticing that squid is making great progress and works well on chromebooks as well.
