Sync Multiple Office 365 Accounts In OneNote For Android
Support syncing multiple Office 365 Accounts in OneNote for Android. At the moment, only one Office 365 account can be synced as a "Work or School Account". However, a user may need to sync multiple "work" notebooks under the following scenario:
1. User works at multiple organizations where the notebooks need to be kept separate.
User works at an organization and also has a separate school account where the notebooks need to be kept separate.
User has a personal domain where an Office 365 account has been set up, and also has a work/school account where the notebooks need to be kept separate.
Also, for privacy and business reasons, the user either may not or can not combine the contents of their personal and business Office 365 account's OneNote notebooks and therefore combining the 2 notebooks may not be an option.
Please support syncing multiple (paid) Office 365 accounts in OneNote for Android.
Thanks!

I need to use two Office365 accounts in OneNote mobile. One from my work, the other from a side job in a school. OneNote is a great tool and this lack of functionality is a grave disappointment as well as a deal breaker for some of my colleagues.

I own an LLC and seperate S-Corp business. Also work a normal corporate W2-based job. That is 3 seperate "work" office365 accounts plus my personal live.com email.
The inability to coherently interact with these accounts in OneNote is the biggest factor for not using this application.

Wow !!! I've two children in a school. From my phone, I can view both Teams accounts without a problem. I even have notifications that work for both accounts registered in Teams.
On the other hand, no way to access the Class note of my two children !!! only a one school note account is possible !!!
it does not make sense !!!
quickly fix this bug !!!
Thank you :) -

I found that I can sync 3 accounts. Maybe it's a bug/security flaw, but it's working until MS fixes (breaks) it. I logged into the app with both my personal and side hustle (call it "school") accounts. Now, since you can't actually add a work account, I navigated to the work onenote via the web-app. In my case it's stored in Sharepoint because I needed a OneNote notebook from a Teams page. Once logged into the website version, I clicked a top button "open in app". It asked me to sign in multiple times as the app was very confused. I believe it first asked me to sign into my personal account again, the screens minimized/maximized a couple times, then asked me to sign in again. This second time I logged into my work account.
Now, I have all 6 of my notebooks syncing on my phone. By tomorrow it'll probably flag a pile of errors in true MS Office fashion, but for now this bug is letting me use them all.

Goddammit MS!!! Do the people that develop OneNote not actually use OneNote for their personal use? I'm seriously annoyed by not being able to access my work office 365 OneNote pages in addition to my personal account notebook pages. I just made a shopping list on my work account PC application drove one hour to the store and now I can't retrieve them on my Android phone! You just wasted 2 hours of my time. FIX THIS!!!

This is very important. Seems MS has completely ignored the possibility that a user has multiple O365 accounts. This happens when there is a family and school account, a family business and a work account, or when a consultant has multiple customers each with O365 domains.

This was working until recently. I have my own business and work for multiple clients. I need to be able to access the notebooks from each as well as my own business notebook. This is really a retrograde step from Microsoft.

Considering how many people are using different onenote accounts at the moment for home schooling, work etc, this would be especially useful under the current circumstances

Are there any updates on this feature request? It's very frustrating being limited on account sign ins for OneNote.
Microsoft announced the change of Office 365 to Microsoft 365 this month and is pushing for greater home use of its Office products. Limitations like this will hamper user experience and adoption. It's easier for me to still use Evernote in conjunction with OneNote since I can't add my personal Microsoft account and two 'work' accounts to OneNote on my Android phone.

Why can I log into multiple OneNote accounts in windows or in the web app, but not in the mobile app? This is ridiculous...

This used to work way back when first released. When will it work again? Office 365 is ubiquitous, so I, like many, have multiple accounts, work, school, church, charity orgs, and personal. Not being able to open content from more than one "work" account is painful.

I am surprised this is still an issue 3 yrs later. but, putting in my two cents. I would also like to sign in to two different OneNote accounts; work and personal.

Here the same problem: Work and a private School account. Not possible. I have to put everything in a live account. Come on Microsoft!

Same as posted below - one work, one uni, one private. As Unfortunately many other topics in the O365 environment not thought through / user friendly...

Please can this happen! I need to log into both my work and college accounts - different organisations so can't share them.
Please boost priority on this issue!
