Please add table functionality (insert row/column) in mobile phones
Please add table functionality (insert row/column) in mobile phones. This comes handy on tabulated data which is updated per row. Tables are easy to manipulate in excel eventtually.
i don’t like how i had to teach myself or other users had to tell me how to make a table lol. bruh i’ve been looking everywhere to find how to do it and i see a comment that tells me how. bruhhhhh
It's unbelievable this feature isn't there. I'd be interested in the statement why it's not. This must've been discussed in the dev team and not implemented for a reason.
MS states plainly "Note: You cannot currently insert a table using OneNote for iPhone."
Reddit looked into this a year ago, potential reasons
1. Development outsourced to Philippines, apparently swamped by troubleshooting bugs they introduce
2. MS preference of Surface sales where you use full version (as opposed to feeding Google and Apple)
3. Focus rather on unified display
Pls add row and column
Oh... a WORKAROUND !!!
Paste a table on it.
Please ON team.. please add row in mobile apps
Yeah, this is becoming more and more important. The Android tablet app for OneNote is far behind the iPad version. I understand why the development is slower for Android tablets, but I think Microsoft should start to give it more attention given that OneNote is fast becoming the best note-taking application available (if not already). Plus I would like to have a note-taking experience with my Samsung Tab S6 on par with the iPad.
It's available on the iPad, why not android tablet!?!? Extremely frustrating.

Yes. Currently, to add a table on android, you need to install an android keyboard with a tab key.
Hit Tab to add columns while you are on the first row. While the cursor is in your last column of the last row, hit Enter to add a row. But there is no other way to add columns or rows.

It is shocking that inserting a table is not available.
I badly need this feature too.

Please add this functionality, add row. Or. Column above.. Bellow
Why the development of onenote goes soooooo slow????
Would love this feature also!
FYI, there is a way to work around this issue. Install an Android keyboard that has a tab button; I use one made by Microsoft called Keyboard for Excel.
Link below! Obviously a tab button is just as important in Excel as OneNote!

It will be so great!

Same for iPhone!
Just searched and this was asked for back in 2014.... not sure why such a popular option has not been implemented yet....
I AGREE! This is much needed when using OneNote on and Android device. I use OneNote on Windows all the time, but sometimes must create and edit tables when away from my laptop.
I am able to create a table on my android, and it syncs. I use the SwiftKey keyboard(an app), which has a tab key.
