  1. Move notes in the Android app

I see no way to move/copy pages or sections to other notebooks in the Android app. I'd love to see that happen. It could be integrated into the current behavior; when you long press a page or section, it pops up options to delete or sync the object. You could add a move/copy option that pops another dialog to choose the destination.

  2. Restore Audio Recording Feature

I can't believe you've removed the ability to record audio clips in notes in the latest update. Please restore this feature immediately, I'm lost without it!

  4. Auto-width view mode

Onenote differs from most note managers by writing on several blocks of text on an infinite canvas, instead of a single block of text. This has advantages, especially on large screens, but it makes reading on the mobile a horrible experience.
It would be good if from mobile apps we can switch to reading mode, which adjusts the text block to the device width and the font size is what is adjusted when zooming (not the text block).

Regarding those pages where the user has several blocks of text in different places on the canvas, I can think of two…

  5. look at onenote for the ipad pro....copy and paste

Seriously, OneNote for android is barely usable. Unfortunately, my company won't support an ipad pro therefore I'm stuck with the Android tab S3. Even more unfortunate is that I'm likely going to have to abandon electronic notes as this app is not very good. I find the pen less accurate (which you can't do anything about) however being able to lasso select, change the color and thickness of your highlighter, and have the ability to open a section group created on a desktop would be a good start. Not sure why one note is especially horrible on Android.....Word seems to…

  6. Insert date time

Would be nice if there was a way to insert the current date and time. I also noticed that apps like text expander don't work in onenote, so there's no easy way to do that at all.

  7. Enable Autocorrect

There is no autocorrect or predictions when using Android keyboard with latest OneNote! Makes it really hard to type notes!

  8. Add equation to the mobile application as it is in Windows

When you can add an equation from Windows, you only see "[equation]" in your Android phone. It would be good at least to see the equation as an image.

  10. Templates on Mobile Versions -

I would love to be able to create/use a form/template on android device. Even if it means creating the template on the desktop version, but would like to be able to use the template on the mobile device multiple times.

  11. Bring the quick formatting bar to android

As everyone else is saying, the iOS app is way more polished. Why? In the iOS app, there is a formatting bar above the keyboard that makes quick formatting SO much easier. Why is this not in android (let alone the ability to hide/delete checked items).

See the quick formatting bar in the right hand picture here:
    http://www.mobilescout.com/img/width660/height376/id173041.jpg

This bar allows you to do things like: bold, italics, indent/ decrease indent, alignment, etc. Will the OneNote team please bring this formatting bar above the keyboard to Android?

  12. Add font styles and headers

This idea has already been posted, but the dumb Microsoft employ marked it as "complete" and cited an update completely different from the problem.

The ability to change text styles, such as to create headers, is a basic, essential, and EASY TO MAKE feature in note apps. It has been done in Google docs for a very long time. It should have been in this app years ago. YEARS AGO. Please add it.

  13. Android Functionality

Stop cutting functionality on Android. It is stupid. The time when Android apps had to be simplistic to offset the lack of computing power is over. The following are the most common examples:

    1) Allow relocating sections from notebook to notebook.
    2) Allow drag pages up and down in stack
    3) Allow renaming notebooks and make sure that renaming affects all platforms. The workaround when I have to go on OneDrive to rename a notebook is downright stupid. If you worry that your system will not recognize a notebook under a new name - add a secret ID system or…

  15. Simultaneous Recording and Writing/Typing

It would be great if you did not have to stop writing/typing notes when you record a part of a lecture or interview. This would allow for more precise concept mapping and better organization as important details could be marked more efficiently and referred back to later.

  19. Low-latency stylus support for Pixelbook Pen

Please support low input-latency for the pixelbook pen. As of now it is embarrassingly laggy as compared to Evernote, etc.

  20. Tags Summary for Android app

OneNote 2016 already has a great feature that is Tags Summary for tracking down all the to-do lists. Now MS has only to give the same feature to the Android app.
