  1. Make Android version of OneNote similar to Windows 10 version

The OneNote app for Android is horrible in comparison to the Windows 10 version. I am an engineering student and I have used the Windows 10 version and absolutely loved it. However, I recently started using a Samsung Tab S3 and I have realized the Android version is absolutely terrible compared to the Windows 10 version. The following are my reasons:

    1. The button on the S Pen is not able to be used as an eraser which, when having to take quick notes, is an inconvenience.

    2. The pen options are absolutely laughable, there is plenty of space to add more…

  2. Enable move to SD card

There should be a way to move OneNote including data to SD card. This is an urgent matter because internal memory is limited!

  3. Add, "Ink to Text," AKA Handwriting to Font support to OneNote for Android

This was posted a year ago, but didn't receive much traction. I just purchased a tablet with a stylus while under the impression that this feature was supported on Android given it has been on Windows for awhile.
Developing for Android and Windows are two different paradigms, I know, but I would think porting the feature wouldn't be too cost or time-intensive.
    Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the feedback. You can currently create sections and notes offline in OneNote for Windows, iOS, and Mac, but we are investigating what it would take to support this functionality on Android. We can’t promise anything yet, but we are definitely looking into it!

  5. Sync Multiple Office 365 Accounts In OneNote For Android

Support syncing multiple Office 365 Accounts in OneNote for Android. At the moment, only one Office 365 account can be synced as a "Work or School Account". However, a user may need to sync multiple "work" notebooks under the following scenario:
    1. User works at multiple organizations where the notebooks need to be kept separate.

    1. User works at an organization and also has a separate school account where the notebooks need to be kept separate.

    2. User has a personal domain where an Office 365 account has been set up, and also has a work/school account where the notebooks need to…

  6. Enable "Link to SD Card" in Andoid App

For serious use notebooks easily get rather big (exspecially with pictures), but a lot of phones have limited storage capacity. Please enable the option "link to sd card" in the android-> Apps-> onenote options

  7. handwriting to text on OneNote for Android

Get handwriting to text for OneNote in Android just like in the Windows version. Otherwise, what is the point? I want my Android Notes to transfer to text that I can access on my Windows machine (or elsewhere) later. That is why I would get OneNote on my android device.

  8. Configurable function for Samsung S-Pen's button

The Samsung Tab S3 comes with an stylus called S-Pen which features a button for the thumb. In Samsung's note taking app this can for example be used to switch to the eraser.

It would be a nice feature, if you could configure OneNote to react to this button, for example by cycling through pens (press to go to eraser, press again for the highlighter press again to be back to normal pen), or by acting as certain other pen while you hold the button.

With such a feature, the button would have a meaningful function and so you can…

  10. Please add table functionality (insert row/column) in mobile phones

Please add table functionality (insert row/column) in mobile phones. This comes handy on tabulated data which is updated per row. Tables are easy to manipulate in excel eventtually.

  11. OCR handwriting recognition

Add support for OCR handwriting recognition for the android app. It would be an awesome feature and I'm not entirely sure why it's not supported as it's part of the windows version. Also you could totally beat Evernote to the punch by being first to support it, GO MICROSOFT! (hopefuly)

  14. why does Android OneNote have such limited functions compared to other OneNote platforms?

Using a stylus on android OneNote is a terrible experience.
    Compare to OneNote on iPad.
When is Microsoft going to fix all the gaps in the Android version??

  15. Tagging (pages or individual notes) for quick browsing/filtering by tag(s).

Ability to tag pages or (if possible) notes on a page, allowing me then to see a panel of my tags, where selection of those tags would automatically filter a list of pages and notes, so I can quickly jump to what I need. The problem with taxonomies is categorizing something as, for example, 'research', 'concept', or 'investigate'; but when I already placed it, sometimes finding it is even harder.

  17. Feature parity with iOS

Make Android app have feature parity with iOS. It's an absolute disgrace that the Android version has been left in such a weak state. I'm forced to use the Samsung SNote app while I wait for OneNote to support even basic functionality like lasso select and redo actions. This is coming from a very long term supporter and advocate of OneNote on tablet PCs.

  18. Make android tablet onenote apps as GREAT as Ipad!

There are alot need of improvement for android tablet devices. When IOS get a great onenote apps for theirs ipad, why cant microsoft to make a onenote apps for android tablets thats as great as IOS? im currently using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and i found out that the onenote apps sucks on many perspective:

    1. The name of the notebook didnt sync correctly as the one on my Windows 10 laptop.

    2. The drawing pen on the "draw" tab. There's only few selection of colours and the size of the pen cannot be selected equally to the other pen as…

  19. OneNote Android Missing Key Features [Oct-2019]

OneNote on Android is in desperate need of an update!

Well, the tablet version at least.

It's lacking so many features that the Windows and iOS/iPadOS have built-in. I recently bought a Samsung Tab S6, it would be great if the Android developers of this Microsoft product spend some time in this space. This is the best Android tablet in a long time, it would be great to see some of the basic features added such as:

    Insert toolbar missing features
    - An insert table button !!!
    - Symbols
    - Math

    Draw toolbar missing features
    - Maths!!! draw to text…

  20. Night Mode / Dark pages

I'm using one note on a Tab S4 for school sometimes for 6+ hours a day. Adding a night mode would make the app easier on the eyes, save A LOT of battery life, and help stop screen burn in on oled devices. Also it looks really good.

Currently I'm using an add-on on the desktop app which let's me use dark pages which I can then sync allowing me to use it on my mobile app but I have to do that every time i want to create a new page on my tablet which is kind of a…
