markdown support right from onenote, just like the brand new wordpress addin
OneNote page to markdown would be great
We would like to get more feedback on which of the two scenarios are more important to you:
1. The ability to create new pages in OneNote from markdown? OR
2. The ability to recall OneNote pages as markdown?

#1 Definitely the ability to create new pages in markdown.

#1 -- ability to create/edit new pages using MD
For me, taking notes in Markdown would be more important (easy to create readable code snippets)
Would make note-taking with code-snippets much easier! Looking forward for this feature!!

Enabling markdown with edit/preview mode will make our life a lot easier.

It would make dev lives a bit easier.
Does this work for anyone? If you can get it working I would really appreciate to know how.

If I understand correctly, is this something a developer in the community could do?
Is anything blocking the following:
MarkDown to OneNote:
markdown -> convert to html -> post page.
OneNote to MarkDown (likely losing page fidelity):
OneNote -> Get as HTML -> Convert to markdown.
I'm for this.

+3 my vote please. Would LOVE to see native Markdown support in OneNote.
Would totally love an export to Markdown feature. There is a tool called "Writage" which allows to save to markdown format from within Word. http://www.writage.com/
"Export to markdown" or "save as markdown" would make OneNote my editor of choice!

I'm really addicted to markdown...
really hope for this feature, it will make faster at taking notes and styling it.
Please add support for markdown or even better multi markdown.
Markdown would make it much easier and faster to write notes

I agree. Markdown would make me jump completely from an Evernote paid subscription to OneNote. Even though Markdown is not natively supported by Evernote, there are 3rd party tools that export directly to Evernote and they look perfect.
Like one of the commenters said, a switch from preview to edit mode, should be enough.
