Export sections to hard drive
One note 2016 allowed the sections to rest in folders on a hard drive or in our case our NAS. The new onenote only lives in the cloud, So instead of having a onenote for a project, that rests with all the other files for that project in it folder on a harddrive, now all sections must live in the cloud? In two years and 200 plus projects, how would you even archive old projects if they can not be exported to a hard disk? Bring back the abilty to open and close individual onenote files from a hard disk.

We use OneNote notebooks for specific projects and need to archive the notebook along with other project materials when the project finishes. I'm sure this applies to many users. We'd like to be able to easily export the notebook (preferably programmatically as part of an archive script) to a single file or set of files which can later be easily restored. The problem with exporting individual sections (a la backups) is that they can't be restored as a notebook, they have to be restored section-by-section.
